Jerry Jaeger, Duane Hagadone, and Brad Hagadone
Founded in 1968 by Duane B. Hagadone in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the Hagadone Corporation is a privately held company with operations that include hospitality, golf, restaurants, real estate, media and publishing, advertising, photography, marine, and aviation.
The company’s flagship headquarters are housed in an iconic structure at the edge of Lake Coeur d’Alene. The nearby Coeur d’Alene Resort, an 18-story, 338-room hotel which opened in 1986, is the company’s signature property, set off by the brilliant red geraniums, crisp green lawns and lake-blue hues that define the brand.
The hospitality division, Hagadone Hospitality Co., co-founded by President Jerry Jaeger and Hagadone Corporation CEO Duane Hagadone, specializes in creating Great Guest Moments at The Coeur d’Alene Resort, The Spa Coeur d’Alene, The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course with the famous Floating Green on the 14th, the Hagadone Event Center on Lake Coeur d’Alene, and the Best Western Plus Coeur d’Alene Inn and Conference Center.
The company offers distinctive Northwest-fresh dining at a restaurant group in Coeur d’Alene that includes Beverly’s, Dockside, Tito’s Italian Grill, Bonsai Bistro, Mulligans, Beachouse, and Cedar’s Floating Restaurant.
Hagadone Hospitality Co. also co-owns and manages The Best Western Plus University Inn in Moscow, Idaho, and manages The Best Western Plus Kootenai River Inn Casino and Spa in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

The Black Book™ Hagadone Directories publishes and distributes regional telephone directories in Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and Northern California.
Hagadone Marine Group provides complete boating services for the region, with Coeur d’Alene Custom wood boat building and restoration, new and used boat sales, maintenance and service, moorage at Boardwalk Marina, Blackwell Island Marina and Silver Beach Marina, Lake Coeur d’Alene Cruises, fuel, supplies, rentals, and other marine support.
The company has a real estate division that includes a number of commercial, retail, and residential properties. There is also an aviation division based at the Coeur d’Alene Airport.
The Hagadone Corporation was founded on the ethics of hard work, attention to detail and a relentless drive for excellence in all things. That vision helped transform Coeur d’Alene from a mining and timber town into one of the West’s most desirable destinations.
The Coeur d’Alene Resort alone has served more than 5 million visitors, who have spent close to $2 billion in Coeur d’Alene. The property was named best travel destination in the world by Conde Nast Traveler and has received hundreds of other accolades and awards.
But the company refuses to rest on its accomplishments, as evidenced by the latest multi-million projects that built the Hagadone Event Center, wedding garden and infinity pool, and completely renovated The Coeur d’Alene Resort and the corporate headquarters.
Today, the Hagadone Corporation, its management group and thousands of team members are proud to carry that vision of excellence into the future.
